Chapter History &
|
The local Women in Aviation Air Capital City Chapter was established in March of 2012. From its beginnings, the Wichita chapter of Women in Aviation was passionate about giving young people an opportunity to experience aviation. Early years of this organization was focused on raising funds to allow young ladies to experience aviation at a space camp through the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center. Over the years, the chapter has transitioned to providing networking opportunities to women in Wichita, while still offering support to individuals of all ages in aviation related fields.
